Can every language complete the same task?
Use this small release worksheet before replacing a service page or enquiry journey. It is an illustrative planning resource, not a client case study.
| Check | Write down | Try it |
|---|---|---|
| Page family | The same service's English, Dutch, French and German URLs | Switch language from inside the service page |
| Content owner | Named source editor and reviewer for each published version | Change one deadline and identify every affected page |
| Enquiry | Fields, confirmation, reply language and responsible team | Send a safe test only in an approved test environment |
| Unavailable translation | The explanation shown when a language version is missing | Open a direct link to the missing version |
| Business record | The destination of a request and a recognizable reference | Find the same example in the team's task list |
A sample change
An equipment supplier changes a product's collection instructions. The English editor updates the source, marks three versions for review and withholds the new instruction in those versions until approved. The review includes the product card, attachment, request form and automated reply. A complete change is the whole journey, not just the page paragraph.
Bring this to a discovery discussion
List the service, current URLs, language owners and one thing a customer finds confusing. Do not include personal records or confidential documents in an initial enquiry.
